HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. - Jake Draluck was at home sick last spring when he saw StreetWise CEO Julie Youngquist on ABC-7 asking viewers to send her stories about inspiring Chicagoans.
StreetWise, the magazine and social support agency that employs and empowers homeless individuals, was planning its upcoming 26th anniversary celebration, and the staff decided to spend part of it paying tribute to 20 people in and around Chicago who are improving the world.
