THE REGINA MUNDI ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IN SOWETO IS MY FAVOURITE BUILDING. IT IS GLORIOUS AND TIMELESS. ITS LATIN NAME MEANS "QUEEN OF THE WORLD", REFERRING TO THE VIRGIN MARY. It is the most significant church of black South African Christendom and its influence stretches beyond its walls.
