Class 40 poster poser!
ON the face of it, this poster appears to be a perfectly normal one, warning rail staff to be vigilant in avoiding accidents and wasting money. It was displayed in British Rail messrooms in the early 1970s, and shows a damaged Class 40 with the wording that it took two seconds to wreck but three months and £15,000 to put right.
