THE latest model from Dapol in its ‘N’ gauge range is ashrunken-down version of the Direct Rail Services Class 68, the 4mm incarnations of which proved hugely popular upon release last year. The manufacturer is mirroring these releases in 2mm with models available in DRS, ScotRail and Chiltern Railways colours with a selection of identities. By the end of February, DCCready versions of all seven initial models had reached retailers with DCC fitted and in DRS livery (2D-022-002) and the rather more plain No. 68014 in Chiltern grey/silver (2D-022-004).
