Last month, EE rolled out the UK’s first 5G network, covering areas of London, Edinburgh, Belfast, Birmingham, Manchester and Cardiff, just beating rival network Vodafone to the punch, with the red team launching its network on July 3rd. It means that we’ve finally been able to test 5G in the real world. So after years of promises of blisteringly fast speeds, low latency and the potential to revolutionise everything from medical treatment to automated vehicles, and smart traffic lights to VR… what is 5G like to use?
