Making wine has taught me that any moment can be turned into a special occasion simply by choosing the right wine. I’ve learnt to stay humbled by the beauty of nature and to respect terroir as the true starting point of an amazing wine.

The biggest misconception about SA wines is that we don’t have the credentials to make expensive, iconic wines. For too long we have been seen as “good value for money from the new world”. But we produce premium wines that comfortably stack up against anything the rest of the world can produce. We should believe in our own products and support the industry by buying local.
