One of the beauties about Northwestern University starting in late September is that, as an incoming freshman, you get a little more time to prepare for your transition into college.
All new Northwestern students, mainly first years, but some transfers, started their orientation during what is affectionately called Wildcat Welcome Week. And despite all the time you had to prepare - whether on campus or back home - nothing throws you into a purple haze quite like NU's Welcome Week.
