Getting Saucy WITH THREE FRUITY LADIES

The first gardening job Pam Bufton’s husband John gave her was wheelbarrowing manure. “Now that’s true love!” she says. Pam is reminiscing about the early days of her relationship with John: “The house I lived in when we met had a little front garden and a man would come round twice a year to cut the grass with a scythe, that’s how into gardening I was.” However, John quickly converted her to the delights of growing food, and they are still growing now in their large country garden near Leominster, Herefordshire.
