Have plane, will travel

I am fortunate to be able to combine my job as a pilot with my passion for playing golf courses all over the world. It’s six months since the last Golf Monthly Travel Supplement in which I first shared with you some of my favourite courses that I’ve played across the globe. Since writing that article, I have travelled over 200,000 miles, visiting 14 countries on five continents. During my travels, I’ve also managed to play an array of memorable and unique golf courses, meeting and playing golf with many new friends along the way.

Working out which ones to share with you in this supplement has been particularly difficult. I’ve tried to select my favourite courses while showcasing different layout styles, designers and geographical locations. Some courses are new designs while others have been in place for a hundred years or more.
