He was the right man for the time. He built consensus, devoting energy and affable drive to the effort, serving as president of the Knifemakers’ Guild for eight years (1989-96). BLADE Magazine Cutlery Hall-Of-Fame® member Frank Centofante offered time and talent as a Guild administrator while simultaneously creating quality handmade knives that stand the test of time and fostering his craft among others. His was indeed a rare combination of abilities.
