By its very nature, historic motorsport is all about the past and a time when fossil fuel was the only way, climate change had not been identified and Greta Thunberg’s parents were toddlers.

Today, no-one can deny the weight of public and political pressure for change as the world grapples with its destiny. Whether you are a committed campaigner for change or a climate change nay-sayer, no one can doubt that the world is changing fast and the automotive industry is changing even faster.

Motorsport cannot stick its head in the sand and hope it all goes away, because it won’t.
