TOP INTERNATIONAL RACEHORSES

What started in relative anonymity in Poland ended with triumph on the world stage. Arabian racing fans could be forgiven if they were unaware of Fazza Al Khalediah at the start of 2018. By the end of the European season in October, Fazza Al Khalediah had made an impression on the sport.

Fazza Al Khalediah won the $1.15 million Qatar Arabian World Cup at Longchamp Racecourse in Paris on October 7 in a 69-1 upset, adding to stakes wins earlier in the year in Poland and Italy. For his success in Paris, Fazza Al Khalediah shared the title as the top-rated Arabian racehorse of 2018 along with Gazwan, a star in Qatar in the spring when he won the Qatar Gold Sword.
