I read with interest the article on the Cocos Keeling Islands (Reef Encounters, GRW June-July 2019). I’m soon heading to Cocos, and would like to do the walk, but have some questions for Rik such as, if the walk connecting the chain of islands takes 10 hours and can only be done at low tide, how is it logistically possible to get low tide the whole way? Thanks, and congrats on a very nice magazine.
