Find Your Happy Place!

In the ancient world, an eclipse was said to signify a momentous and perhaps disastrous event, but in the modern world this is no longer so. Today, though an eclipse still has an aura of magic and mystery, we emphasize the abundance of potent power it bestows on us. After an eclipse, all things may be possible, but it is up to us just what that power produces.

In July, there will be two eclipses, the first one on July 2 and the second one on July 16. Eclipses can affect us either through their visibility, or lack of it, in the place on Earth where we are when it occurs, or through the place it touches in our personal birth chart. In regard to the first possibility, this month’s eclipses will not be visible in either the U.S. or Canada, so the second possibility is more likely. Even more likely (in fact, guaranteed) is that the Sun and Moon at the time of each eclipse will affect us through its placement in our personal houses, and that is where the “happy place” in the title comes in. If we understand what house placement means, then we can learn how to get the best out of it.
