NEVER KONA GIVE YOU UP

A PART from its odd position within the Hyundai ranks, there are a few other offbeat things about the Kona 1.0 TDGI.

The styling, for example. It was designed by the same man who drew the Lamborghini Murciélago.

Some say Hyundai borrowed the headlight design from Jeep’s Cherokee. But the Jeep’s lights seemed at odds with the proportions, like a thin line of mascara on a hippo. The Kona’s lights are a better fit and the design is cooler, and we think it manages to pull it off. In the end it’s up to personal taste.
