Q&A ‘Should I weigh myself every day?’

Q: I’ve read that I need to drink at least 2L of water a day for optimal health. Is this true?

A: Water is the most important substance our bodies need, second only to oxygen. Being sufficiently hydrated is especially important when following an LCHF diet, for two reasons: you need to flush out the metabolic wastes created by fat burning, and some people may experience electrolyte imbalance at the beginning of a ketogenic/low-carb diet.
