Since I’ve had a run of really difficult foxes recently, I thought it would make sense to discuss the matter of dealing with wily individuals. Two of these happened the same week as I wrote this. A farmer had called me from the back of his quad bike to say that he could see a fox sauntering across the field in front of him with a lamb in its mouth. Whether it had actually killed it or found it dead we’ll never know,
