It is probably no surprise to those who know Tony Laughton, a former paratrooper, that he is involved with guns. After leaving the Army he started his own building company and in 1995 he set up a pheasant-shooting syndicate in North Yorkshire. He also carried out deer management on an estate in Scotland for many years before deciding to pursue his love of fieldsports in a professional capacity.
