FRESH CORN TORTILLAS

MAKES 16

INGREDIENTS

2 cups white masa flour (available from bulk-food shops and specialty food stores)
375ml water
¼ tsp salt

1 (Note: you need a tortilla press for this recipe.) Place ingredients in a bowl and mix with hands to a soft, pliable dough (2 minutes), adding more water or flour if needed. Form into ball, cover with a damp tea towel and leave for 30 minutes.
