I FELL down a mountain AND SURVIVED!

Peering out at the vast mountain ranges covered in snow, I felt so alive.

After six hours I’d reached the summit of Mt Tapuae-o-Uenuku, the highest mountain in the country outside the Southern Alps.

It had been a challenge mentally and physically, but now that I’d reached the top I felt like I was on cloud nine.

Growing up, my dad and I spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoors.
