A healing herb garden for body, mind, and spirit

Ten years ago, after decades of working alongside others, I took my first step towards adapting a garden to my own limitations and aspirations.

I started with a simple question: what plants would enhance my health? At the time, only a low-maintenance garden felt manageable, so I chose perennial herbs that would flourish without any attention aside from summer watering. My first spiral bed, located right outside my kitchen door, allowed me to watch my young children while picking herbal teas for my guests.
