Having a Go With Bows Again

AS A lad of nine, after watching several Howard Hill films, my interest was in hunting with bows and arrows. This didn’t last very long really and all my interest in bow hunting was put well onto the back burner. Why, you might ask? Well it really waned after getting a good flogging from my old man for shooting the family dog and him breaking my bow and arrows, it did take a while to get the courage back up to start again.

Anyway through my teenage years I made a few bows and did a lot of hunting and then one day got right into it by purchasing a nice recurve bow. After that longbows become the thing I loved most and always thought the sight of a longbow at full draw was like looking at a waning moon.
