2020 IN FOCUS

Cast your mind back to 2000 when we thought wireless was another word for radio and only birds tweeted. Roll the clock forward and we’re now into the third decade of the 21st century. And while many predictions of what we’d all be doing in 2020 – teleporting and visiting Mars – haven’t come to pass, there’s no doubt the first year of the 2020s is going to be a big one. Not only globally (US election, anyone?), but also here in Aotearoa where we’re facing what some are calling Super Election Saturday and road-bumps in our economy, education and environmental sectors.
