Making meaningful connections
Just over a year ago I commenced my tenure as President of the Design Institute of Australia. In my first Comment column, I signalled a call to action – challenging our members and the design community to think about the different conversations we engage with and to question what we mean by “the voice of professional design” in Australia. How do we harness the myriad and sometimes conflicting views of a diverse group of creatives and disciplines?
