    FESTIVAL FUN

    The Joburg Theatre, in association with Joburg City Parks and Zoo and City Power, are reinventing the annual JOBURG ZOO FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS with a delightful collection of illuminated, life-size animal characters, entertainment, food and a craft night market from 1 December-5 January.

    Joburg Ballet will be performing at the bandstand each night from 1-8 December. The zoo’s animal welfare and conservation staff will ensure that the decibels of the entertainment are monitored to avoid startling or annoying the animals. The gates will be open from 7-10pm every night except Mondays and visitors can follow a designated, lit route away from the animal enclosures.
