Christmas in the Basque Country
Despite the fact that my family is now based in Australia, we will occasionally head back to the beautiful Basque Country to celebrate Christmas.
The region is very big on Yuletide. Slow down your pace when you walk pass shopping mall windows and you will be rewarded with a grand Christmas display. Every year, there is a shop window contest to see who can create the best and most enchanting exhibit.
