Ian Cox is a commercial attorney practicing for his own account in Durban. His interest in environmental law was piqued when DEFF tried to list trout as an invasive species. This diktat is controversial for many reasons, not the least of which is that DEFF did not follow the legally prescribed consultation process when adopting this tool.
