They come in threes: BWM founders Rob Belgiovane, Paul Williams & Jamie Mackay

A bit of background on all of you, hometown, education, family, interests/hobbies?

Jamie: Sydney born and bred, Newington College, Macquarie University. I’d describe myself as brand planner, entrepreneur, dad, husband, coach, counsellor, surfer, skier, fisherman, philosopher, budding musician. Live in North Bondi with my first and only wife Skye, three school-age kids, one cat, one dog.

Rob: I’m from Adelaide, Campbelltown High SA, Guitarist.

Paul: Grew up in Marlow on the Thames not far from London, an area famous for the Henley Regatta and producing some quality rugby talent, and I have always loved the game.

I read English literature at London University, was a graduate trainee at Ogilvy & Mather London and in 1987 was exported to Ogilvy Sydney heading up the American Express business.

In 1989 I became Managing Director of DMB&B Weekes, Morris Osborne and in 1995 started BWM with Jamie.

How long have each of you been in the industry?

Rob, Paul and Jamie: 35 years each.

Why did you get into it? Were you going to do anything different?

Perfect balance of creativity
