A Philippine Wonder of a Book

There are some unique features about this amazing work that are a bit puzzling, as you will see. I say that while in the midst of giving much praise for its scope and content. Its title is TUPI 1852-1985: hard cover, small octavo, 460 pages (page size about 8x5 inches), full color throughout. It has white text on black Publisher is given simply as Bayani; I assume it is in Manila. While no author’s name appears on the cover or title page, the initials of Dr. CMH DMD thanking his lovely wife for supporting his endeavor appear with the list of acknowledgments on page 2.
