    I’m standing above a large culvert. It drains the water from a major slough, and passes underneath the road. The current is swift in this culvert and the beavers that I am chasing don’t want to swim through it. So there is a distinct trail up and over the bank.

    This is the perfect place for a foothold trap and the best place to make
