Non-service delivery is a reality for South Africans and it’s filtering through onscreen too. A riot tears through Alexandra township and “the people are angry. A child has died in a pit toilet and no one is taking (property developer Senzo), referring to their demand for better facilities and service delivery in Alexandra. “It’s typical in some black communities to destroy what little infrastructure there is to get attention.”
