Thrown offguard

Nothing will be the same again for Queen Ntwenhle (Asavela Mngqithi) when she discovers that she may be pregnant. “She is beside herself,” says Asavela. This situation could have been easier if she was certain of the unborn baby’s paternity. But she (Chris Radebe) while visiting him in prison and not so long after, she landed in bed with her fling Jabu Zungu (Pal-lance Dladla). Not knowing which is the father, if she is pregnant, throws her off balance, explains the actress. “She’s terrified that the chieftaincy will throw her out on the streets and Jabu will be murdered if she is with child. Even worse, she fears that her family will disown her. It’s a complete mess.” Ntwenhle gets over her fear of taking a pregnancy test this fortnight and the results will leave her stuck on a downward spiral.
