“Now I understand why the soap's name is Suidooster,” says Annelisa Weiland, who played Hilda on 7de Laan from its start in 2000 until July this year. “The wind literally blew me in there,” she jokes. (Greta Pietersen) mom. “Kate approaches things quietly but knows what she wants. She is comfortable in her own company and especially likes reading books, but she isn’t shy,” adds Annelisa. Kate’s arrival is unexpected but Michelle and her hubby (Gideon Lombard) quickly jump to accommodate her while they try to find out what she’s doing in Ruiterbosch.
