Meridian’s DSP7200SE digital active floorstanding loudspeakers have been described by The Absolute Sound as “a magnificent speaker in the flesh... superbly finished in high gloss piano lacquer, every sign of great attention to detail in its design and construction.”
Bit of a shame, then, to hide them behind a projection screen, not to mention 10 other Meridian in-wall side and rear speakers, and six in-ceiling speakers… indeed Len Wallis Audio’s team has since learned that this Reference 13.4.6 Atmos configuration — that’s 23 speaker channels in all — is the largest channel count of any Meridian theatre system in the world. So we were pleased to see that the front stage speakers have been specially lit behind the screen (above) to show them off when the rest of the system is not in use.
