Grain SA ‘unhappy’ with soya location differentials

Grain SA has expressed dissatisfaction with the Johannesburg Stock Exchange’s (JSE) recent announcement that it intended to implement location differentials in the futures trading of soya bean. This was according to Corné Louw, senior economist at Grain SA.

Speaking to , Louw said that since the JSE’s announcement, members had mandated Grain SA to consider its response to the decision, and it had therefore requested an urgent meeting with Dr Leila Fourie, CEO of the JSE.
