THE IDEA
About 20 years ago, my mother bought a navy jumper made of soft wool. It became a staple in her wardrobe, but I loved borrowing it as it fitted so well and went with everything. I spent years trying to find one just like it, but I couldn’t, so I realised I either had to stop getting frustrated at being unable to find the perfect jumper, or create it for myself. As someone who lives in knitwear, the former was not an option, so finally, at the beginning of 2018, I put the idea into action. I was also determined to do it in the most sustainable way possible.
