What was the first match you ever saw live?

West Ham 1-0 Watford in the 1989-90 season. I was 10 years old. It was in the old Division Two, and Julian Dicks scored a penalty. I also went to Craven Cottage a lot that season – my dad’s a big Fulham fan and he was doing his best to get me to support them. I had already fallen in love with Upton Park, though. It was everything about the place: the walk up to the ground, the atmosphere, the people. I was West Ham from the very first visit.
