This is a project for experienced quiltmakers with advanced skills. Susan’s quilt was made entirely by hand piecing and hand applique and the instructions assume a good working knowledge of these techniques. We have included seam allowances in the patchwork shapes on the Pattern Sheet for those who prefer to machine piece. Delete them if you are piecing by hand.
