‘YOU’RE PREGNANT’

As with any gynaecologist appointment, I walked in, got undressed and put on the gown while I waited to be examined. I’ve always dreaded this examination, but little did I know that this time would be different. After five minutes of the doctor doing his thing, he looked up and told me how he couldn’t carry on with the examination.

Shocked and scared I asked why and probably sounded like I was about to burst into tears.

“You’re pregnant.”

I asked him a few times if he was sure and then burst into tears. The poor
