    SOME folks will tell you that the noise, heat and vibration of driving an old 4x4 is all part of the experience; a part of the character that makes owning and driving an old fourbie fun. While I do agree with that sentiment, the noise that gets through to the cab of my old BJ73 does have its limits, especially at highway speeds.
