NICOLA (NICKY) WILLIS

THE re-enactment community and medieval jousting fraternity is mourning the loss of one of its brightest and biggest talents, who has died aged 50 from cancer.

Ms Willis was a pioneering medieval jouster with a reputation for her ability, prowess and kindness in an often very competitive sport.

Ms Willis was 10 when she was given six lessons at a riding school, where she became a working pupil.

She enjoyed showing in the London area, and worked for Vauxhall
