MY BEST mate from School had been living in Whistler for about 18 months, so I was planning on heading over to spend Xmas and New Year’s with him. I kept thinking that if I’m going all the way to Canada, how could I get a hunt in along the way? Many ideas came into my mind, wolves, mountain lions, mountain goat, even found a guy who hunts denned bears in Russia. But everything was basically too expensive, out of season or I didn’t want to sit over a bait for five days.
