New love on the horizon

There is no stopping the growing attraction between Kaashifa (Jawaahier Petersen) and Imraan (Marlo Minnaar). Nothing is going to keep them apart – not even Kaashifa’s strict grandmother Rabia (acting newcomer Na-aymah Samaai), who initially had no time for Imraan. “From the first day (in June) when Imraan moved into Ruiterbosch and Kaashifa caught his eye, he knew that she is someone special,” says Marlo.

Kaashifa was also interested in Imraan, who is working for his uncle (Cedwyn Joel) as the new pharmacy assistant, but she was careful not to fall for him too fast. “Her recent relationship with (Hein Poole) in April didn’t work out and she didn’t want to get hurt again,” says Jawaahier. “But things now feel right for her and she sees a future with Imraan.”
