HOLID KEEPSAKE
Strolling along the beach, I took in the stunning view as the waves lapped the shore. It was September 2017 and the start of a two-week holiday in Mauritius.
After months of saving, it was a well deserved treat to celebrate graduating from university.
The four-star resort had everything I could’ve wished for.
Only, not everything was perfect to me.
See, the public beach connected to the hotel was overrun with stray dogs.
