Beat / Let‘s start with the most obvious question: Did the corona crisis hit you hard?

It was a difficult situation for me because I had just released my album and was preparing shows when the exit restrictions started in Paris. A week of big shows in the middle of Paris was supposed to happen, but I had to cancel them all because of the Corona virus, which was very frustrating. With my label, I thought back and forth about postponing the album release, but we decided to do it now. I think that was a good decision, because during this time a lot of people need music that encourages them and there was no reason to wait in my view. I think I had the corona virus myself because I was very sick for a few days and had all the symptoms like fever. But after a few days I felt much better and it gave me a boost that I could share my music with others through the album release and that there were lots of good reactions. It was a roller coaster ride
