that's life!

Welcome!

It’s been one of those weeks when it was clear the universe was conspiring to tell me something for my own good. Like many others during this pandemic, I’ve had some sleepless series that came out of the UK over 10 years ago. In the show, a comedian and restaurant critic spend a week eating as if they were in a particular decade or period of the past. A history lover, I found the shows on YouTube, then Simon and I chose the ‘80s episode, as we had both spent part of that decade living in London. The food, fashion and fads of the ‘80s had us both laughing out loud. I know it wouldn’t be to everyone’s taste, but having lived through it made it funnier to me. The bottom line is, how great it was to laugh. I went to bed feeling good about life. Needless to say, I had a brilliant night’s sleep.
