1 INITIAL MARKS

Having limbered up and visualised the space Erin would occupy on the piece of paper, I set about explaining the first main shadow shapes I noticed. The paint was fluid, my eyes were half closed; it was all to play for. Cadmium Red, Sap Green and some Yellow Ochre made the shadows in the skin; Alizarin Crimson with a touch of Viridian was used for the top.
