Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries have been around for quite a while now and have truly become the go-to battery of choice for RC hobbyists. They pack a nice punch for their form factor, come in a wide variety of sizes, capacities, and voltage outputs and are quite possibly one of the great improvements made for hobbyists worldwide in the recent past. As great as LiPo batteries are, they do require attention and maintenance with charging and storing. Today we are going to touch on some of the fundamentals of how to properly care for your RC LiPo battery packs. These tips apply to LiPo and LiHV batteries but can generally be applied to other Lithium chemistry batteries.
