WORKING OUT THE PAYLOAD

Q Hi team, I read with interest the article on the New Age Road Owl in edition CW596. That 19ft van is very similar to our own 19ft van in construction, chassis and certified weights, except that ours is a twin bed tourer with combo shower toilet coming from a well know Victorian manufacturer.

I have also noted specifications on other similar vans and I am now wanting to know the answer to a puzzling technical question regarding our van — what is the limiting factor in the load carrying capacity of 400kg in our van, compared to the 600kg in the Road Owl and similar capacities again in others?
