A tale of one that got away

It’s grand to be free again after lockdown. Riding the surge in public enthusiasm for staycations and holidays in Britain, I jumped in the car during August and headed off to visit friends in Argyll. It felt strange to finally get out on the open road after almost six months and, while I love my home, I was delighted to put some distance between myself and the daily slog of my working life.
